Working on distributed data problems at Roblox. Equally at home admiring a well-sorted roadster, debating in-house movements, or reading pot odds at 2 a.m.

My work Get in touch

hello, world!

A bit about me

I'm a software engineer at Roblox, working on distributed data problems that power one of the world's largest social platforms. I'm originally from Pune, India — I've been playing guitar and trained in Indian classical vocals since I was young. Music is just part of how I'm wired.

I approach most things in life the same way I approach a poker hand — read the situation carefully, manage your risk, and don't be afraid to make the big bet when the math is right. Whether that's a career move, a watch auction, or your friends convincing you that you can send it down a double black diamond on the mountain.

When I'm not writing code or at the felt, you'll find me ogling Porsches, obsessing over seconds complications, or explaining why Brighton & Hove Albion and Indian cricket are objectively correct life choices. I also ski, play rec soccer, and am currently figuring out which grip to use on a tennis racket.

Beyond the code

What I'm actually into

Work is what I do. These are what I am.

🏎️
Roadsters & the art of ICE
The 987 Boxster and Cayman are the most underrated sports cars Porsche ever built — mid-engine balance and a chassis that communicates everything. But the roadster family runs deep: the BMW Z4, the Miata (the answer to every question), the Toyota MR2, the tragically underrated Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky. Alfa Romeos belong in this conversation too, and Vespas count on principle.
Horology
Mechanical watchmaking is engineering as art. I appreciate the craft behind a well-executed in-house movement more than any smartwatch will ever make me feel. My grail? The Breguet Retrograde Seconds 7097 — if not for a certain British spy's influence pushing me firmly toward the Omega Seamaster instead.
🃏
Poker
No-limit Texas Hold'em, late nights, long sessions. Equal parts math, psychology, and patience. Any game is fun no matter the stakes — whether it's a tournament final table in Vegas or a weekend home game with your buddies and some cold ones. The table doesn't lie either way.
🎸
Music
Big John Mayer fan — the blues playing, the songwriting, all of it. Music is the one hobby that goes everywhere with me.
Brighton & Hove Albion
Seagulls through and through. I watched De Zerbi's attacking football with genuine joy, and I'm not apologizing for it. I also play rec soccer — nowhere near Premier League level, but the love for the game is real.
🏏
Cricket
Borderline obsessive about Indian cricket. Stats, history, Test match nerdom — I have opinions about every selection decision and I will share them unprompted.
🎰
James Bond / 007
Daniel Craig is the definitive Bond — Casino Royale is a near-perfect film, Eva Green's Vesper Lynd is the best Bond character ever written, and the Omega Seamaster is on my wrist wishlist for exactly this reason. I loved the character so much I named my car Vesper :)
⛷️
Skiing
There's something about carving down a mountain that silences everything else. Done Gulmarg, Colorado, Tahoe, the local Vancouver resorts, and Whistler so far. Japan, Europe, and Georgia are next on the list.
✈️
RC Airplanes
A slightly niche one, but there's something deeply satisfying about building and flying a scale model that actually works.
